For a decade, Lawrence Daniel Caswell blessed Cleveland's airwaves with a two hour radio program he called NO WAYS TIRED. Cleveland State University's radio station WCSB 89.3 was it home, and while Mr. Caswell's taste are wide and varied, skipping through decades as if he had access to his own time machine- there were three constants - Bobby Womack, "For Lovers Only" and his tremendous instantly recognizable voice (which is on display throughout this digital release).

Producer E.React taped the last of this radio program to cassette, and set off making beats from this amazing treasure trove of nearly forgotten, but always beloved soul music. While many discuss the premise that the art of sampling is not art at all, i challenge those of that mindset to listen to what E.React deconstructed, and made his own.
He also had a mind to invite some amazing guests for this album- our good friend and collaborator Jake Wynne comes thru once again with an amazing and subtle performance on flugelhorn on the track F.L.O. featuring a sublime vocal by Lawrence Daniel Caswell himself. World renown, and Cleveland Alum educator/MC Jahi sets the whole agenda off, and Cleveland Tapes Alums San Goodee, and Square kill their verses.
As usual, We at Cleveland Tapes invite you to download this, and all of our album through our "pay what you can/want" campaign. We know times are hard, but if you got some coin throw it our way, we want to keep this going, and we need the listener's help! If you do not have any scratch, no worries just give us your email and the album is yours, 320bit mp3, or whatever format you choose.
